Etude House Soon Jung pH 5.5 relief Toner

The Korean skincare brand Etude house is famous worldwide now. The brand has been launched in India recently. Right now it is available in Nykaa only.
Coming back to the product I am reviewing today, the soon jung range by Etude house is made especially for sensitive skin.

Ingredients: WATER, PROPANEDIOL, GLYCERIN, BETAINE, PANTHENOL, MADECASSOSIDE, CAMELLIA SINENSIS LEAF EXTRACT, SCUTELLARIA BAICALENSIS ROOT EXTRACT, 1,2-HEXANEDIOL, BUTYLENE GLYCOL, ETHYLHEXYLGLYCERIN, CARBOMER, POLYGLYCERIN-3, DISODIUM EDTA

It is a relief toner with a pH 5.5. This toner contains 97% naturally derived ingredients. It's low pH level keeps skin balanced and hydrated throughout the day. It is free of potential irritants like fragrance, artificial color and paraben.
Panthenol, a skin benefiting compound is closely related to vitamin B5 delivers deep hydration. While madecassocide, derived from centalla asiatica repairs skin damage.

My experience: With a water like consistency, this refreshing toner deep hydrates and calms/cools down my skin. My skin now feels less angry, it does not dry out unnecessarily. My pores look refined. I feel less sensitive to photo-damage(although I always use sunscreen now). As my skin is very sensitive and can be easily irritated. This toner has been helping me in this hot summer a lot. I recommend this to everyone who is suffering from sensitive crazy skin.

Best Chemical Exfoliation: The Ordinary AHA 30% BHA 2% Peeling Solution Review

No comments :

My take on The Ordinary AHA 30% BHA 2% Peeling Solution while using it for nearly 8 times in past 2 months.
First of all this is not at all for skincare beginners.
Secondly you actually need to know about the ingredients of all the products you use while continuing to use this product because this contains AHAs (alpha hydroxy acids) such as glycolic acid, lactic acid, tartaric acid, citric acid and BHA in the form of salicylic acid. You cannot use ascorbic acids, vitamin A and acid toners at the same time while using this. I usually wait for two days to start using my vitamin C cream.
MOST importantly: this makes the skin very sensitive to sun exposure so it is necessary to apply sunscreen every time before stepping out.
But first let me explain it for beginners in brief about this product and what it does: it is a 10 minute exfoliation solution with a pH of 3.6.
It aims to remove the dead skin by dissolving the glue that keeps it stuck to the skin and then skin looks softer, smoother and brighter. It stings a bit on application and it is advised to not use it for more than 10 minutes.
The BHA (beta hydroxy acids) in this solution gets inside the pores, unclogs them that means no more blackheads. No more blemishes plus pores are smaller.
For me it is a must have product and best chemical peeling solution for those who have built up their tolerance for acids now.
Since I started using it, the tanning has gone.
After using this my skin don't break out anymore.
It took care of fine lines and made the skin more plumper. Before using this I started my exfoliation game with Oriflame Novage peeling solution which I used for 4 weeks, then I jumped to this. Guess I was in hurry.
I read some online reviews complaining about this solution making them dry. On the contrary, it made my skin smooth as it contains Hyaluronic acid.

CAUTION: PLEASE AVOID THIS IF YOU HAVE NEVER USED ANY EXFOLIATION ACIDS EVER OR HAVE SENSITIVE SKIN OR HAVE PEELING OR CRACKING SKIN. ALSO NOT TO BE USED ON WOUNDS, CUTS.

I use it at night and apply aloe vera gels and night masks before sleeping. This way I move the pH level from acidic to somewhat neutral. Dont forget to apply hyaluronic acid serum and night masks. I found this way of exfoliation even better than microdermabrasion and scrubbing which made me look dull and dark the next day.
Needless to say, this is best exfoliating AHA BHA chemical peeling method in the market.

This revitalizing snail serum includes 80 percent snail secretion filtrate to help nourish and promote skin regeneration. It repairs skin damage.  Snail mucin products are very popular in korean skincare, they offer anti aging benefits, works well on acne prone skin, hydrates the skin. It is suitable for sensitive skin, repairs any skin damage due to environmental stressors and gives glowing skin. These benefits all together makes this the best snail serum in the market.

The ingredients also mentioned that it contains niacinamide also known as vitamin B3. It helps in increasing the ceramide barrier of the skin which keeps skin hydrated resulting in smaller pores. Niacinamide reduces inflammation and skin irritations. It protects against sun damage.
This best snail serum also contains chia seed extracts, which also help in restoring moisture, calms the skin and prevents wrinkles.

Tonymoly The Chok Chok Green Tea Watery Skin Toner Review : Miracle Water for Combination Skin

No comments :

K-beauty Edition:

Today I want to share my review on Tonymoly the chok chok green tea watery skin after using it for two months. Tonymoly is a Korean brand which has been recently introduced to Indian market. Right now it is available on Nykaa. I have recently become fan of k-beauty skincare.

About the toner, I liked it a lot due to the fact that tha brand Tonymoly had a different concept of using fermented green tea instead of conventional distilled water as base of the toner.
The pure green tea (camellia sinensis leaf extract) is 86% which has been aged and fermented for a year during all four seasons. It is known for being a powerful antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and anti-aging ingredient and it contains the polyphenol epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG) which prevents the sun exposured skin from oxidation. It helps against sun damage, prevents collagen loss and protect against free radicals.

The texture is very runny and watery (thus the name watery skin). It feels very soothing and hydrating on my skin.

Second best ingredient I liked in this magic toner is the Ethyl Ascorbic Acid, which is a stable form of vitamin C perfect for skin brightening. It is collagen booster and is also an antioxidant.

In addition to these useful base ingredients above. It contains rosewood oil, lemon seed oil.

This toner is helping me cope up to external factors like pollution and sun exposure.
It is making me feel confident about my skin.
It has helped me get a smooth and hydrated skin. My pores are more refined now. Tanning has reduced.
I would totally recommend this to everyone regardless of the skin type. I have combination skin and it works well for me.
